- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Add vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Mix until combined.
- Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hour for easier handling.
