Ingredients
Scale
- 1 packet quick rise yeast
- 1 T. sugar
- 1 t. salt
- 1 1/2 C. warm water
- 4 C. flour
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and flour. Blend well.
- Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
- Cut off small amount of dough, roll into shapes, and twist into pretzels. Arrange on greased cookie sheets.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake 15 min at 450 degrees.
