How to Make Strawberry Freezer Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 (1.75 ounce) package dry fruit pectin
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Hull strawberries and crush in food processor. Stir in sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add pectin and room temperature water to saucepan. Gradually heat mixture until pectin is dissolved.
  3. Once dissolved, bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute stirring continuously.
  4. Stir strawberry and sugar mixture. Then slowly stir in boiled pectin.
  5. Pour jam into jars and add lid. (Remember to wipe the jar before adding the lid.) Let jars sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours before storing in the freezer.
