It’s getting to be that time of year here at Lehman’s–we’re finalizing Christmas plans for our online and Kidron retail stores. I hear a lot of “Oh, I’d love to have one of those!” when a certain product is discussed, or is being tested. Some of us dream big, and others are more practical. Check out these wish lists…I’m sure you’ll find a kindred spirit.

One thing on my running list…The Odor-Free Compost Pail. We go through a lot of kitchen scraps at home, and this is nice because it doesn’t require daily disposal. On my dream list: The Memphis Pro Wood Fire Grill. I would love, love, love to have one! Brisket, pizza, or steak on a wood-fired grill? Yummy.

I want a BUGGY ROBE! I have been eyeing these for years, because I
would love to get one for my dear mother-in-law. She is always cold. I’d never gotten to see or feel one up close until we brought one into the office to examine it. (Honestly, I need two: one for her, and one for me!) They are so plush, luxurious and soft that I can believe they would keep one toasty while riding in a buggy or horse-drawn wagon during the winter. They’ll make the perfect snuggly lap robes for wintertime movie watching, reading or just relaxing at home. They’d be great to take to frigid sporting events, too.

I would like a lifetime supply of coal because I need to feed my beloved Hitzer coal stove all year. I really love the Aladdin lamps too. We use well water at home, and I would like to use a Berkey to filter our drinking water. I would love to find out how nice those Rockford red heel socks (AKA ‘sock monkey’ socks) are too. I am planning on getting my wife a buggy robe for outdoor soccer games. She really likes Uncle Harry’s All-Natural Tooth Powder too. I would like to get her a sleigh full of that.

Once I read over everyone’s lists, I realized my list covers both practicalities and “big dreams.” For instance, I need a Post Popper, to tidy up the old dog run. And the Amish-Crafted Maple Work Table would be perfect in my kitchen. I suppose in about 8 weeks, we’ll all see if our dreams come true!
