“The Summer Celebration is, for me, one of the most enjoyable events that we host,” says Glenda Lehman Ervin, Lehman’s Vice-President of Marketing. “We have so much fun pulling it together, and I just love watching the children enjoying the crafts and activities. This year, we’re going to have a jump house outside, and I think that is going to be so popular with the children. This event is planned for and is all about families and summer fun.”
While the youngsters are a Summer Celebration focus, we haven’t forgotten the adults! “On our patio we’ll have grilling demonstrations all day long–with free samples–and we’re especially pleased to show off our Ohio-made Fire Pie Pizza Ovens,” says Ervin. “There will be product demonstrations storewide featuring many customer favorites, including appliances, oil lamps and organic gardening.” Sizzle!, the latest cast-iron cookbook from Lehman’s will also be available. This limited-edition cookbook includes more than 500 recipes submitted from Lehman’s customers from all over the country. Many recipes date back generations.
Entries can be submitted throughout the entire event and the winners of the drawings will not need to be present to win. Visitors to the store can also register to win a Memphis Pro Wood-Fired Grill (shown at right) worth $2,500. Live music and vingette performances from The Ohio Light Opera will add to the party atmosphere.
