The Ultimate Fall Recipe: Dutch Oven Apple Butter Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients: 

  • 1 pack of Cinnamon rolls 
  • 1 16 oz of Half & Half 
  • 1 8 oz jar of Lehman’s Apple Butter 
  • 1 2 oz bottle of Apple Pie Spice 

Instructions: 

  • Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  
  • Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open your pack of cinnamon rolls and separate the icing from the rolls.  
  • Layer the Apple Butter: Open the jar of Lehman’s Apple Butter and spread 4 oz on the bottom of your Dutch oven.  
  • Arrange the Cinnamon Rolls: Place all of your cinnamon rolls on top of the layer of apple butter in the Dutch oven. 
  • More Apple Butter: Spread the remaining 4 oz of Lehman’s Apple Butter on top of the cinnamon rolls. 
  • Add Some Creaminess: Pour 6 oz of half and half on top of the cinnamon rolls.  
  • Bake to Perfection: Place your Dutch oven in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. 
  • Let It Rest: Once the timer goes off, carefully pull the Dutch oven out of the oven but leave the lid on. 
  • Prepare the Icing: While your cinnamon rolls are resting, scoop the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in the microwave for about 15 seconds until melted. 
  • Spice It Up: Sprinkle a teaspoon of Apple Pie Spice into the melted frosting and give it a good stir. 
  • Drizzle and Delight: Open the lid to your Dutch oven slowly and pour the spiced icing over the cinnamon rolls.

Recipe calls for 16oz of half & half and 2oz of apple pie spice but only uses 6oz and 1 tsp.

Danielle, the products are sold in those amounts. You just use less when making the recipe!
