Here at Lehman’s, summertime is more than warm weather and longer days…it’s means a fresh harvest is on its way! Our Tiny House on a Tiny Homestead (located at our store in Kidron, Ohio) recently had the garden area refreshed and planted for the season, and we’re excited to share with you some gardening inspiration.
If there’s one thing we learned with our Tiny House is that you don’t need a lot of space to grow fresh food and flowers…just some creativity! Here is a glimpse of the recent changes:
Elevated garden containers, like the one pictured below, are true back savers!
What’s a garden without flowers? Container gardening from raised beds to pots and planters of all size is the perfect solution for patios, balconies and small spaces.
Step into gardening season on the right foot! Pair succulents with a creative planter, like we did with an old pair of shoes, to give your space character. (Upcycling what you have is also a great sustainable choice.)
