Free Family Fun that’s close to home


Have you ever wondered who, in today’s modern world, creates the products from yesteryear?

This is your chance to find out. We found talented, creative artisans located within a few miles of our store, who are eager to share their wares with you.

Bring the entire family to Kidron for a day of entertainment and education on Saturday, July 11, between 10 and 4 pm for the Lehman’s Local Artisan Festival. It’s free family fun that’s close to home.

Tim fiddling tunesTim Shue, member of Sonnenberg Station and Central Christian music teacher, will be fiddling tunes.

Sue Steiner, creator of the numerous murals on the walls at Lehman’s, will be painting.

Hooking rugsThe ever-popular team of Amy and Holly Frantz of Two Sister Wool Rug Hooking will be creating rugs.

Enjoy landscape painting by Joanne Murray.

Organic gardener Karen Geiser will help your child create a unique hollyhock flower doll using locally grown blooms.

WeavingWindy Knolls Fiber Farm and Forge will be demonstrating old-time blacksmithing and spinning and weaving.

Terri Howard will showcase her one-of-a-kind hand-painted bird house gourds.

We will also have an demonstration of our most popular children’s toys in our outdoor dining area. Have you ever seen a bubble as big as your child? There’s something for everyone, and don’t forget to try a sample of homemade fudge!
