Cannoli & Honey
“Cannoli (Spaniel Mix, 4) and Honey (Mini Goldendoodle, 6) are puppy mill rescues. Honey Baked Ham is a happy go lucky girl who loves to carry around a stuffy, usually a Lambchop. She’s a retired mill momma who now spends her time digging in mud and begging for snuggles. Cannoli is just like a toddler who loves to play, cause trouble, and will do anything for a treat. He once chewed the corner of a TV. He is happiest going for a walk or taking a ride through the Starbucks Drive-thru. Fun fact: he has two different colored eyes.”

Koda, Age 5 years old
“Koda is a Himalayan cat and has as much fur as his heart has love. Koda enjoys watching the birds and walking around in his fenced yard with his mom. He could sit at a window all day and watch the animals outside.”
Kiba, Age 8 years old
“Kiba is an American Eskimo and is the happiest boy on the planet. He loves his dad more than anything and shares his birthday with him (June 30th). He is the main star at any event his parents’ hosts, and his favorite treat is a Greenie.”
Muffin, Age 13 years old
“Muffin is a DSH cat and favorite past time is sleeping in any sunspot. She’s been with her parents for 10 years now and has become the treat connoisseur of the house. Muffin’s purr-er is so loud you can hear it a room away with ease.”
Emet, Age 1 years old
“Emet was the newest addition to the family when he was scooped up off the street last year. He is a very playful kitten who likes to talk. His favorite toy is a hair tie, and you’d be sure to hear him coming before you see him.”

Sunny, Age 8 years old
“This is Sunny. His full name is ‘You Are My Sunshine’ Sunny. He was born three months before my mom passed away. She used to sing that song to the grandchildren, and that is where his name came from. Sunny and Mya are very faithful. He is on my lap all the time and Mya is by my feet. Very nice breed to have if you are looking.”
Mya, Age 6 years old
“This is Mya. She is a Shetland Sheepdog also known as a Sheltie. A lot of people ask if they are miniature collies, and that answer is NO. Shelties can be trained for AKC shows, but their real job is herding. Mine are lapdogs. They are a very faithful breed. They bark a lot. You won’t need a doorbell, just get a sheltie.”

“This is Copper he’s a German shorthaired pointer, and he’s a year and a half old. He loves rocks, chasing four-wheelers and playing with the neighbor dog. He loves his family and never lets us out of his sight. He’s a sweet boy and loves to snuggle. “

Fats, Age 14
“A shelter rescue, my brother adopted Fats in January 2015. Fats however, adopted me and decided she wanted nothing to really do with my brother if I was around, so I inherited her. At the time, I had another cat who was the runt of her litter, so I took to calling them Fats and Smalls respectively and the nicknames stuck. One day last fall, Fats decided she would give herself away – she was tired of living with us I guess, ha ha. In her golden age, she enjoys pets, treats, lying in the sun, and spending time outdoors harassing our other cats. True to her gangster style name, she considers herself to be the boss.”

Marshmallow
“Meet Marshmallow, a truly special bunny with a heartwarming story. He is a tri-colored Mini Rex. He was named by my granddaughter who thought he looked ‘a little bit toasted, like a marshmallow!’ Marshmallow’s early days were unique. Sadly, his mother passed away shortly after he was born, leading to him being brought indoors for care. He was lovingly hand-fed kitten milk replacer twice a day with an eye dropper, and at around nine days old, his eyes opened to the world. Due to the peculiar way he liked to be held during feeding, he temporarily lost some of his baby fur, which grew back of course. Around two weeks old, Marshmallow was introduced to hay and rabbit pellets, and it was then that his playful personality truly blossomed. He became known for his adorable ‘zoomies,’ where he would joyfully run around and kick out his back feet. While he wasn’t thrilled about the gradual decrease in his milk feedings (as he had developed a bit of a ‘piggy’ appetite!), he thrived.
Marshmallow eventually moved back to the barn with the other critters. He is approaching his third birthday in June. Despite being all grown up, he still looks forward to his daily pets, snuggles, and kisses from his human family, proving he’s one unforgettable bunny. Bonus: He enjoys posing for Christmas card photos.”
Lucky
“Lucky, a Red Eared Slider Turtle has been a cherished member of our family for almost 25 years! He was the size of a fifty-cent piece when we brought him home. These turtles can live for 50-70 years in captivity so Lucky will be a part of our family for many years to come.”
Edison
“This is Edison, a Painted Turtle who is about 6 years old. He was the size of a quarter when he became a member of our family. He’s a bit of a shy guy! Although he has grown quite a bit, he has a long way to go to catch up with Lucky!”
Ledo Bug Bear Claw, AKA Toledo. Age 4
“Meet Ledo Bug Bear Claw, AKA ‘Toledo,’ our 4-year-old Rottweiler. She is a silly bug that enjoys the simple pleasure of sitting on your feet and leaning in for cuddles. Her enthusiasm for fetching a ball is boundless, often continuing until she is completely exhausted. This goofy girl will sometimes grumble just for cause and effect. It must be a Rottweiler thing. While she is fiercely loving of her family, Toledo is less enthusiastic about unexpected guests. Just don’t try to walk in the door unannounced or you might not be walking out!”
